Frequently Asked Questions

We try to anticipate questions you might have about our services and provide the answers here. If you need additional information, e-mail us at teena@alwayswithyouhc.com or call at 214-550-0755.

Q.  How do I get started with services from Always With You Homecare?

A.  Just contact us and we will schedule a free in-home assessment at your convenience.

Q.  If my caregiver is sick, will someone else come?

A.  Yes, we have someone on-call 24 hours a day, to manage staffing issues. In almost every case we are able to send a qualified replacement caregiver if our clients need and want a replacement.

 Q.  Can my caregiver drives me to run errands?

A.  Yes, Assiting Hands Home Care caregiver will take you to run errands, doctors visit, religious activities and much more with minimal mileage charge or will drive your car with no extra cost.

Q.   What do you charge for a supervisory visit?

A.  Nothing. Regularly scheduled or as needed visits from one of our administrative staff are at no additional charge to you.

Q.  Does Medicaid pay for your services?

A. Yes, Medicaid covers Personal  Assistance Services

Q.  Does long-term care insurance pay for your services?

A.  Most long-term care insurance policies will pay for our services as long as the policyholder needs assistance with daily living needs. Keep in mind that every policy is different so it is best to check your individual policy or your agent to make sure it covers in-home care.

Q.  Is Home care safe?

A.  Institutionalized residents are at high risk for developing acute illnesses such as pneumonia, dehydration, gastroenteritis and even antibiotic-resistant Staphylococcus infections. With a single caregiver attending to many people, it's harder to control cross contamination from one infected resident to another. The one-on-one personal attention by an in-home caregiver greatly lowers the risk of such illnesses. Plus, home caregivers can devote 100% of their attention to preventing falls, wandering, bed sores, and kitchen injuries, and will even call 911 within seconds of an emergency.

 Q.  Can we cancel the services at any time?

A.  Yes, you can, but "Always With You Homecare" will ensure you in all aspect that our client is 100% satisfied.

Q.  Are all "Always With You Homecare" caregivers insured, bonded & background checked?

A.  At Always With You Homecare, caregiver are carefully selected through a rigorous interviewing process and trained for capable and compassionate care. Each caregiver is also screened through extensive background checks, insured and bonded to protect our clients and their families.
